Select Milwaukee Milwaukee is a private nonprofit organization, founded in 1991, on the notion that families and Milwaukee neighborhoods would be well-served with the private, public and nonprofit sectors working together to support homeownership that people can afford and sustain.

Solid partnerships forged in the 1990s and many others since those early years with community-based and other nonprofits, financial institutions, employers and government, remain the foundation of today’s Select Milwaukee, offering a variety of services and resources to promote and preserve homeownership that families of all incomes can afford
